成人头条 is excited to announce that Matt Wallis has been named the University鈥檚 new Director of Athletics.

Wallis has served Concordia Texas for more than a decade, leading the women鈥檚 basketball program since 2013 and most recently serving as associate athletic director. In those roles, he advanced staff development for a department of nearly 50, strengthened donor and community partnerships, launched athletics branding initiatives, and mentored coaches and student-athletes across programs.

鈥淢att鈥檚 leadership reflects Concordia Texas鈥檚 mission to prepare students for lives of service and leadership,鈥� Concordia Texas President Dr. Kristi Kirk said. 鈥淗is years of dedication to the University, combined with his proven ability to grow programs and mentor coaches and student-athletes, make him the right person to lead CTX Athletics into the future.鈥�

With Wallis stepping into the director role, Brianna Marstaller has been promoted to head coach of the women鈥檚 basketball program. A CTX alumna and four-year student-athlete, Marstaller has spent more than a decade shaping Tornado Athletics, moving from graduate assistant to associate head coach.

鈥淏rianna Marstaller has been an integral part of 成人头条 Athletics,鈥� Wallis said. 鈥淚 have full confidence that the program is in excellent hands, and I am excited to see the future she will build as the next head coach.鈥�

As Director of Athletics, Wallis will oversee 15 intercollegiate athletic programs, expand opportunities such as women鈥檚 beach volleyball, and continue strengthening community and donor relationships.
