Donovan Stafford, known to many as 鈥淒on,鈥� is a standout student-athlete at Concordia Texas, where he鈥檚 pursuing a Computer Science major with a Finance minor, leading the CTX Men鈥檚 Basketball team as captain, Student Athletic Advisory Committee Men鈥檚 Basketball representative, and serving as a Junior Admissions Counselor. Set to graduate in Spring 2025, Don has found a way to blend his academic, athletic, and leadership passions.
From an early age, Don was fascinated by the technology behind the video games he loved. This curiosity led him to explore coding and software development, skills that he continues to build on at Concordia Texas.
From Coding to Collaboration: The Benefits of a Computer Science Degree
At Concordia Texas, Don has immersed himself in understanding the complexities of coding and software, while also recognizing the critical role of teamwork in technology. Through his experiences, he鈥檚 gained valuable problem-solving and collaborative skills that will serve him well in his future career as a full-stack developer.
Don plans to use his degree to design and develop websites, blending his technical expertise with his growing knowledge of marketing.

Kaitlyn Ruiz is a senior set to graduate in Fall of 2024. She鈥檚 the captain of the CTX Volleyball team, President of Student Government and Student Athletic Advisory Committee, a Junior Admissions Counselor, and an intern at Concordia Texas鈥� Ultraviolet Student Agency. Kaitlyn is completing her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Administration and aspires to carry out her entrepreneurial goals.
